Active helmet hearing protection (M32H PLUS)
Earmor M32H PLUS is a helmet-compatible electronic hearing protection headset tailored for tactical, shooting, airsoft, and industrial use. It actively reduces impulsive noise—such as gunshots—above 82 dB to a safe level, delivering a 22 dB NRR according to ANSI standards, while simultaneously amplifying ambient sounds like speech, footsteps, and commands through dual directional microphones and five adjustable volume levels.

The headset features a low-profile design with silicone gel ear cups to ensure comfort during extended wear and compatibility under FAST/ARC‑rail helmets. The battery compartments are waterproof (rated IPX‑5), powered by two AAA batteries that provide approximately 350 hours of runtime, and include an automatic shut‑off after four hours to conserve power.
Communication-enabled by design, M32H PLUS includes a NATO-standard TP‑120 auxiliary cable and allows mounting a boom microphone on either side. Improvements in the 2024 “PLUS” model include dynamic voice tracking, EMI/RFI filtering, anti-misoperation buttons, upgraded metal battery caps, and silicone tethers to prevent cap loss, reflecting a more rugged construction.
